2014 is the year when Scotland Welcomes The World. It’s going to be an exciting year for Scotland as we play host to not just The Ryder Cup but to two other world-class events – Homecoming Scotland and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Hosted at the Gleneagles Hotel, it is one of the world’s leading 5-star resorts, set in 850 acres of Perthshire countryside. It has one of the most luxurious destination spas in the world accompanied by chef Andrew Fairlie’s Restaurant – the only Scottish establishment with two Michelin stars. Perthshire is where the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands meet, and where 39 golf courses ensure there is something for every golfer. So there has never been a better time to visit Scotland – the birthplace of golf.
